i noticed with mine it seems glossy but doesn't seem to look like the other gloss's i seen, could it the settings. other than that it works fine.

Well another way you can do it is to use the rectangular marquee tool and fade it from white to transparent but instead of selecting all of the image just go half way down it with the rectangular marquee tool and fade it that way. I have recently been doing that and it seems to give me good results so you might want to try that. Good luck!
